Trustees Meeting
Present were Roman Warmke, Phil Richardson, Joyce Richardson, Brad Jokish and Mr. Smalley.
Roman called the meeting to order at 7:05
Discussion: Roman asked for help in securing the new Beechwood sign. It had been blown off during the bad windy weather. Smalley said he would look at it and see if it could be secured. The lake sign maybe could be replaced. Consensus: The lake sign is fine as it is. It might be secured again. Roman presented the receipts for the sign, and Brad bought lights to illuminate the sign. If they work, Brad will submit the receipts if not, he’ll use them at home. Smalley will continue to work on the sign.
Brad presented the treasurer’s report. 974,54. Brad paid property tax 384. 50. Lights are 22. Per month. Dues are to be collected this month. Everything is more expensive. Smalley suggested we clear pathways around the lake. This could happen during spring cleanup.
Agenda items: Roman presented.
Announcements: Problem of Coon hunters on private property. The only solution if an agreement can not be made privately is to call the sheriff.
After a board member complained of septic smells, Roman suggested to put in newsletter to check your septic. They should be cleaned every three years.
A Guard Rail will go at the first hairpin turn. The second one will go in next year.
There are two houses for sale in Beechwood. Roman and Brad suggested the association needs a welcome system.
No update on Rt. 50 improvements. Should we buy more carp?
Brad will clean out the drain. Roman suggested he write a letter to Mr. Grippa thanking him for mowing around the lake. Smalley and Roman thought they might help also.
Phil presented a letter to the trustrees. It was accepted by the board.
It was suggested that the spring picnic be on May 15. Roman will look into that date. (This has been temporarily postponed)
Brad left at 8:18 to take care of Silas.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20.
