Roman’s House w/ Roman, John and Smally, 7-8pm

  4. Discussion about other neighborhoods Trustees committee, and what happens if we don’t pay the light bill. Decided we’d ask Brad then Phil.
  5. Desire to test lake for bacteria BEFORE the new sewer is built so we can do a “before/ after”, we’ll ask Ed where this stands.
  6. Smally brought up the idea of a “community clean up day” in the Spring and will contact the city to see when and where that big recycling day is to be held.

Beechwood Board of Trustees Minutes
Meeting held 7/14/16 from 7-830 pm, at Roman’s Home

In Attendance: – Roman Warmke (President) – Brad Jokisch (Treasurer) – Ed Peterson (Trustee) and – John Scott (Trustee)
Absent from the meeting include – Michael Small (Trustee) – Terrence Smith (Trustee)

Agenda:

1. Welcome, introduction of members, historical perspective, distribute Maps.

2. Financial Report (Brad): Balance is dipping a bit low (exact #s TBA) as its time for annual dues, which Brad will send out this month. Full report to come at next meeting. Roman will setup the website to again accept Paypal, and we will do away with the “$35 fee for rentals” as it was causing too much confusion, so all houses are $50 annual.

3. Houses for sale, new people. John met the new folks at house #2 (see simple map) and right now there’s just two homes for sale in Beechwood, #26 and #27.

4. Theft and Security: Only report last quarter was house # 3 said someone broke into a car in their driveway but did not steal anything.

5. Lake. Brad is planning to commission a study to determine is the pollution is man made, or bovine.

6. Septic Replacement Project, John lead a discussion on the county’s new plan and how we fit into it, particularly convincing them our “All Gravity” plan is best for the residents. A right of way discussion ensued. John is unable to physically lead this group anymore so Brad, Ed and Roman will be going to the next County Commissioner meeting (7/19) and present them with our “100 right of way approval” and ask they do their survey this summer focused on our “all gravity system” instead of their planned survey.

Adjourn, next meeting October Picnic! Date TBA
